The Centralized Admission Process (CAP), offers facility for online submission of single application for admission to various degree programmes in multiple colleges affiliated to the University. CAP helps students to submit applications to affiliated colleges of their choice through simple online steps. This hassle-free process is time saving, cost effective and ensures transparency in admission.
Admission to the UG Programmes in Arts and Science colleges (except UG programmes to which admission is based on entrance examinations and BA Afsal-ul-Ulama) affiliated to the University of Calicut including 50 % of seats set apart for Merit Admission in the Self Financing colleges for the Academic Year 2017-2018 will be conducted through Centralized Admission Process.
The Centralized Admission Process (CAP), offers facility for online submission of application to various colleges and programmes. Students can opt upto 30 programmes of their choice on priority basis from the affiliated colleges through simple online steps available in CAP (website www.cuonline.ac.in).

Those who fulfill the above eligibility and seek admission to the following seats shall apply through Centralized Admission Process.
Details of seat that comes under the ambit of Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
Those candidates who are “Eligible for Higher Studies” as per the Higher Secondary Examination or a pass in the equivalent examination is the minimum criteria for admission to degree courses, unless otherwise specified.
Candidates qualified in the annual examination held during the March of the preceding academic year or its preceding supplementary / annual examinations alone are eligible for admission. However, candidates who have qualified the HSE and VHSE of the Government of Kerala under ‘SAY’ scheme and Compartmental Examination of CBSE are also eligible for admission to first year degree courses in the same academic year.
2.) Read Prospectus and Instructions carefully before proceeding with the registration.
3.) Do not press back button during the process of registration
THE CHALAN FORM CAN BE VIEWED. TAKE PRINT OUT OF THE SAME
If mode of payment selected is SBT E-Chalan a SMS will be received with in 2 to 6 hours.After which he/she can remit the amount in the any SBT branch. The candidate's copy of the chalan may be kept in hand and the college copy may be submitted along with the print out of the application to the college at time of admissions. And after 24 hours of the payment another SMS/e-mail will be received intimating the CAP ID number and password. After the receipt of this SMS he/she can login and submit the application.
PAYMENT PROCEDURE IS COMPETED Keep ready the following
1) The CAP ID number and password received in your mobile.
2) Copy of the Qualifying Ceritificate.
3) Passport size photograph scanned and saved in '.jpg' format with a size less than 40 KB.
4) List of colleges and programmes of your choice on priority basis.Thirty programmes from among the various affiliated colleges can be opted by the candidates.Please Annexure-V for list of colleges and course.
5) Income Certificate for BPL candidate

STEP 1 Enter Personal Details. Utmost care should be taken while entering reservation details. Those who apply under the BPL category should submit the order No, date of order and details of issuing authority.
STEP 2 In the Second Step, you should enter the Educational details -

Registration is complete. No need to send the print out of the application/documents to the University. But all the Originals should be presented at the college at the time of admission.
